Common Questions
Is the discovery call really free and really no-pressure? Yes and yes. It costs you 15–30 minutes, and the most common outcome is honest advice about your next step which is sometimes "you don't need us yet." We'd rather earn the call back in a year.
Will you give us a real cost range on the first call? An honest first reaction, yes based on eight years of Northern Virginia cost data. A real number takes a design and that's why our pricing gets sharper at every step of the process, starting day one.
What should we have ready before reaching out? Nothing is required. The three things that make the call most useful: your rough budget (the real one), your ideal timeline, and whatever exists: photos, a Pinterest board, drawings, or just the problem you're trying to solve.

If the numbers don't work for your project we'll tell you on the first call. A five-minute honest conversation now beats a six-month expensive lesson later. That's the fiduciary thing to do and it's how we've grown on referrals for eight years.
What happens after you hit send
1. We reply within one business day. A real reply from Clayton or Christian, usually with a couple of questions and times for a call.
2. A 15–30 minute discovery call. Your goals, your timeline, your real budget. You'll leave the call with honest first reactions — including a realistic cost range for what you're describing.
3. A no-pressure meeting. If it makes sense for both of us, we'll meet, at your property or one of our current job sites, where you can see how we actually build. Plans in hand or napkin sketch, we meet you where you are.
